to the web page of the Mount Ridley Orthodox Mission seeking to serve the growth area of Melbourne bounded by the Western Ring Road, the Hume Freeway, Mickleham Road and stretching north to Beveridge. We recognise that there are many Orthodox Christians living this area but there no Orthodox Churches located here. We also are aware that many people find it difficult to to worship in their parents church because they do not have the language skills to fully join in worship.

All of our services are in are English and our members are from a variety of orthodox national traditions. What binds us together is our love of God, Father Son and Holy Spirit and our desire to express that love as Orthodox Christians following in the tradition of Holy Catholic Orthodox Church. We are open to all Orthodox and all who wish to embrace or learn of the Orthodox Faith.

We are part of the Antiochian Tradition of the Orthodox Church in Australia.

Archbishop Paul

We are the third English speaking mission in Melbourne under the jurisdiction and Fatherly care of His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Paul Saliba, Archbishop of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of Australia, New Zealand and the Philipines.

Our Archdiocese belongs to the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East

Our Patriarchate is blessed and honoured to have been established by the Holy Apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul before they went to Rome and their deaths at the hands of the Romans.
